What is it?

SEO is the process of improving the visibility of a website in the organic search listings via on-site and off-site optimisation. The aim of this is to increase traffic to your website and (from driving the right traffic) also conversions.

Having evolved over the years, SEO is no longer purely about the standard web results. Now, an SEO campaign should incorporate Social Media, Online PR, Video Search, Image Search, Local Search, Product or Shopping Search and Reputation management.

Not only has SEO evolved, but the range of devices that people search from is expanding. Whilst in the past we only had to concentrate on desktop search, we now have a growing range of devices to think about, which include Desktop/Laptop, Mobile, Tablet, and TV. Technology is evolving so rapidly that, by the time you read this page, the list would be out of date.
