Creating everything from TV shows through to spot ads, sponsor boards and online content, the USP of this award-winning team is their TV production background, which equips them with first hand knowledge of how to create great content with high production values at a reduced price without compromising quality.

What we do
We make content – from creating and delivering TV ads, through to online content (ranging from cookery to comedy), TV sponsor boards and even television shows. Branded is essentially a creative department that produces entertainment and advertising content for brands.
The Product Placement arm of Branded specialises in finding the best opportunities for brands within TV shows and then leverages these opportunities in other media to maximise effectiveness.
In terms of product placement, the team have been at the forefront of the industry through their chairing of PACT’s successful lobbying of Government to get it legalised. PACT is the trade body that represents UK TV and Film Producers who create 60%of what we watch and account for £6bn of turnover. This prestigious role gives Branded a link with producers that allows us to see Product Placement opportunities far in advance of any other media agency.
USP
We produce broadcast quality content in whatever we do. But, by using television production models instead of advertising ones, we are able to deliver the equivalent content at a far more competitive rate than the market average. We are also able to make content from across long form TV shows, down to TVCs and online interactive content, delivering a far wider range than most of our competitors.
In terms of Product Placement, we chaired PACT’s lobbying of Government to get it legalised (PACT is the trade body that producers accounting for over £3bn worth of production), and worked closely with other key players in the arena. As such, we are able to get far earlier sight of the Product Placement opportunities out there – which few of our competitors are able to do. We also did the first Product Placement deal in Coronation Street.
Why is it important?
Content and entertainment are the lifeblood of the execution stage of great marketing campaigns. If you don’t have content you don’t have a campaign.
Product Placement is all about context and credibility that, when intermingled with your other marketing activity, will give a depth and reach to your brand that has not previously been attainable.
